I conducted my survey to inform people about Gun control and what people really know about gun control. I told people about the fact that 89% of Americas homicides are caused by fire arms. There are classes for hunting I think You should have to classes to have possession of firearms so the homicide rate would decrease. This is what Gun control is supposed to prevent.

One true fact on gun conrol is that if you dont have the right state of mind to control a gun, you should not have access to them. One thing that is happing is that people are commiting suicide, and there is a chart that shows that every 1million house hold with a gun there is a 80% suicide rate. Also a chart says that on average 69% of the world's homicides are by fire arms. Personally I think there should be a law that if you are going to own a gun you should have to pass a class before you can purchase a fire arm. There is one really important thing which is keeping your firearms out of childrens reach, because the are alot of tragedies where little children are killed because they find a gun and think it's a toy. There was a case like this about 3 months ago where a 5 year old little boy and a 6 year old little girl and the girl found a gun in a drawer and shot he little brother and killed him. If people would be more cautious then alot more tragedies wouldn't happen. There are alot of gun control problems that are happening.

I picked the topic of gun control and there are alot of concrens about people not being aware of there surroundings. There are alot of problems with tragadies for instance peolpe leaving axcess of guns open to children. I think there getting better with selling of guns also they crack down on felons and that who try to purchese guns. I think it is smart if people keep guns sucure and not have them loaded at any time when in an inclosed area. In the 1990's alot of states passed the right to carry law and in one state the murder rate rose 200% and it rose 12% in the U.S. But also on the other hand in 1987 Florida adopted the right to carry law and the homicide rate went down by -36% in Florida and -0.4%. Scence the right to carry law has went into affect the has been only one recorded incident that was an acident and it was ruled self defence. Scence the right to carry law went into affect there has been alot of cases where some one has saved an officers life. This is why I think gun control is important.
